OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
Renewal in progressOur most recent certificate lapsed on 23 October 2020 and the renewal is with the issuing institute. We publish a certificate only while it is in date — a lapsed document in a compliance file is worse than none. Ask us and we will send the current paperwork and the renewal status directly.
Scope: Printed labels made of white or black 100% polyester satin or taffeta ribbon printed with black or white ink; yarn-dyed woven 100% polyester labels. Appendix 4, Product Class I (articles for babies and toddlers). Test report 54742.

What these standards mean for you
Our labels are tested against the standards your compliance team already asks for.
Tested for harmful substances, at the strictest class
Product Class I is the level applied to articles for babies and toddlers — the strictest of the four classes. A label certified at Class I is accepted for every other class of garment.
Restricted substances for the EU market
Annex XVII covers azo colourants and nickel release, among others. This is the list your EU compliance officer checks first.
Lead content for the US market
The American requirement on total lead content in children's articles, which applies to trims as well as fabric.
Chinese national textile standard
GB 18401:2010 sets formaldehyde, pH, colour fastness and odour limits for textile products sold in China.
